This blog was created by my husband when our first son was born in 2005 to update our family with the happenings in our new little life. We updated it pretty infrequently and then it sort of became mine. I've never really had much of a theme, other than writing what is on my mind. This blog has changed as my faith has grown and my family has grown.
Sometimes I write pieces that are divinely inspired and other times I write about completely random things.
I would best describe myself as a "Dreamy Idealist". I'm very reserved, but I have many passions. I am constantly striving to improve my life and just a small piece of this large world. I'm messy, but love to organize. I am a night owl and struggle with early mornings. I am peace-loving and prefer to live in harmony with others around me. I'm a great listener and a loyal friend. I hate small talk, but can spend hours discussing real life. I'm pretty emotional and definitely struggle with my temper and mood swings. I'm creative and I love to crochet, knit, tie-dye, and make things in general.
I am a follower of Jesus. Wife to Chris. Mama to three wonderful children. I home-schooled my children for three years and was a stay-at-home mom for seven years. I'm adjusting to life again as a full-time working mom. I have a special needs child. I strive to live as naturally as possible by eating real foods, using non-toxic cleaners and toiletries, and taking care of our earth.
My prayer is that this blog will help show the amazing love and grace of our Savior to my readers. I will be open and vulnerable with my struggles because I feel that is where truth growth and healing take place. I will also be silly too. Because quiet frankly, we can't take life too seriously.
